I made a New Year's resolution for 1998: to go to England. And, for once, it was a resolution that I was able to keep. I have wanted to go to the British Isles for as long as I can remember. I didn't get to see everything that I wanted to, but I only had 12 days, not the *years* it will take to see it all. And, as luck would have it, I got to go back in May-June 2000!
