While on the road from Stonehenge to Glastonbury Abbey, I saw
a sign 'Longleat House -- 2 mi'. Since I was by myself and had
a little time to spare, I went ahead and followed the road to
Longleat. I didn't have time to actually go in and see the house,
although I will make an effort to someday.
